The following is our Refund Policy for affiliate products Sales and Affiliate Vendor Rental Sales.

For affiliate products: Products purchased on kayak305.com or from a link from kayak305.com please see the refund policy from the retailer you purchased the product from, for example Amazon, Bote or Columbia, etc.

Rental(s) refund: If you booked a tour or rental, please cancel at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled adventure and you will receive a full refund.  If cancelled within 4 hours of your reservation we can help you reschedule or provide you with an E-Gift certificate via e-mail that will be valid for up to 1-year.  To cancel simply send us an email to hello@kayak305.com and include the name of your reservation, time and date.

Bad Weather Refunds: Weather happens, especially in Florida, especially in the summer mid-day, and that is why we highly recommend morning reservations, or late afternoon reservations. 

So, if a rental is cancelled by Kayak305 or any of its affiliated vendors due to severe weather conditions or for any safety reason at all, a full refund will be provided.  On that note – please see that we are in the natural environment, and we do not cancel for light rain, overcast skies or any cool temperatures.

Late arrivals and No shows. If you are late, the reservation check-out time will remain the same.  If you do not show up for any reason, a refund, E-gift Certificate, or rescheduling the reservation will not be permitted.  We define no-show as not arrived after 30 minutes of your scheduled booking time.  We be serious about paddling.

A Little Rain

A drizzle never hurt anyone. Yes, but Florida, the Sunshine State, is also the Thunderstorm Capital of the United States. “Isn’t it Ironic?” – said Alanis Morissette. Kayak305 booking policy brings you peace of mind so you can Book your adventure as far ahead as you’d like. Here’s some real situations and our stand:

Situation #1
If your trip is cancelled due to Severe Weather (Thunderstorm or the like) PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE you can: Wait it out, or reschedule for any other day, time.
There’s is a saying among Floridians – “if you don’t like the weather in Florida just wait 15 minutes”. Maybe that’s all you need to do if an afternoon thunderstorm threatens to roll by and ruin your adventure.

Situation # 2
But what if you’re in town for a fixed time and can’t do it any other day or time? No worries, if the weather does not cooperate with your travel schedule and it’s unsafe to kayak, we can do one of 2 things: We can set you up with another outfitter nearby that is not affected by the storm (if available), or we’ll refund 100% of your purchase.

Situation #3
What if an unpredictable rain or thunderstorm rolls by halfway during your adventure? Although we’d love to, we can’t control the weather. Prior to your departure we suggest checking your favorite weather app.  For your convenience, we placed a weather widget for each rental location in kayak305.com.

If you see a thunderstorm threating your vicinity, find shelter and wait it out following the outfitters suggestions and recommendation. Once it rolls by, continue your Adventure… ooh wait, that was an Adventure! 

Bottom line, Florida has unpredictable weather.  For this reason, we recommend you follow the ABC’s of kayaking and Watersports. ABC stands for wear Anything But Cotton (think, bathing suits and Gym Clothes, or fishing hoodies). The moisture wicking Material in these cotton-free clothes will help you dry quickly and stay warm. I guess by now you’d figured it out. In situation #3 your adventure is complete and we won’t offer a credit or refund for unpredictable weather during your adventure.

Situation #4
You’ve had a terrible emergency and can’t make it. We understand, life happens; cancelled flights, family emergencies, belligerent bosses, etc. Just chat with us or call us or send us an email no less than 3 hours prior to your scheduled adventure and we will reschedule or refund you 100%. 

Just Remember, the water is always the best listener, so come back soon and leave your troubles hanging for 2 or 3hrs at Kayak305.com.
